Lincoln Golf club aims to provide a forward-thinking dress code to fit in with the modern day environment. Although keeping to the traditions and etiquette of the game, it is within in our interests to keep in touch with the vast changes over the past decade. All golfers should be aware on arrival of the guidelines below with regards to the dress code on the Course, Practice Areas and in the Clubhouse.
All players must wear appropriate Golf Shoes for the conditions of the given day. Shorts must be tailored with golf socks being of any length of colour. Jeans are not permitted on the golf course.
Shirts should be worn inside trousers, shorts or skirts. However, recognised golf shirts can be worn outside when they are specifically designed to do so.
Smart casual wear, including tailored shorts, may be worn in the Clubhouse. Denim jeans are permitted but must not be faded or torn,
Footwear must be used and can include spike-less golf shoes or trainers. Headgear and waterproofs are not permitted.
