Whether you are an experienced golfer looking to sharpen your skills or a complete beginner seeking to learn the game, we have a tuition package perfect for your golfing requirements and ability; our packages are made to fit the individual

We’ve carefully put together lessons to make sure that you get the most from your time with our team, so you can leave with the confidence and knowledge to be able to pursue your Golf.

David Middleton is the resident PGA Professional at Lincoln Golf Club and has been at the club since 2008. David started at the Club as a Trainee PGA Professional and has since gone on to complete his training and become a fully qualified PGA Professional.	Adam is a fully qualified PGA Professional having played golf for most of his life having started at aged 7. He turned professional back in 2015 following two years on a golf scholarship in America. During the first year of Adam's professional career he played events on the Europro Tour, Alps Tour and mini tour events across the UK. This was a great learning experience playing with some great players, making new friendships and learning more and more about the game. In 2016 Adam began his PGA training at the University of Birmingham being attached at The Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club. Adam is now happy to be a part of the team at Lincoln Golf Club and work with David and Aaron in the Pro Shop.	My career in Golf has been a little different from many Pros’. Qualifying through the PGA training programme in 1982, my career initially took the traditional route of club professional. Returning to Higher Education in 2002 and achieving a BSc (Hons) degree led to being offered the role of Lecturer at the University of Lincoln. Throughout the 15 years that followed I combined working within both Golf (as head coach) plus Higher Education, on a journey of continuous learning. This was achieved via post-graduate qualifications, research and reaching Senior Lecturer at the University of Lincoln within the School of Sport & Exercise Science. I currently act as a consultant to the PGA, being a mentor to approximately 100 trainee professionals throughout their three year programme. I am also a marker/assessor within the Business Management modules for the PGA training programme. In 2010 I was awarded the prestigious status of ‘Fellow of the PGA’. That is a brief Bio of what I aim to bring to this exciting opportunity & I very much look forward to working with you in whichever way helps you reach your goals best. My coaching philosophy is to: “Coach the person (not a method), stimulate inquiry & encourage exploration”.

Junior Coaching

CREATING THE NEXT GENERATION

At Lincoln Golf Club we recognise that Juniors are the future of our Club and aim to provide opportunities for juniors of any age, both boys and girls, to play and enjoy golf.

We have the facilities and the coaching to help them develop their skills and knowledge in the game of golf in a safe and welcoming environment.

Upcoming Junior Coaching Dates

Lincoln Golf Club holds regular coaching sessions for any juniors who would like to start playing golf, or just improve their game.

These are open to members and non-members.

Saturday 2nd March 12pm - 1pm - on the range (Gary Leslie)

Sunday 17th March 4pm - 5pm (Adam Woolley)

Saturday 6th April 12pm - 1pm - on the range (Gary Leslie)

Sunday 14th April 4pm - 5pm (Adam Woolley)

Cost per session £7.50 includes Coaching & Range Balls

Lincoln Golf Club is now a SafeGolf accredited club, as a result the following forms all now have to be completed – Young Golfer Profile and Consent Form, Photo Consent, Code of Conduct for both Golfer and Parent for any Junior that particpates in any coaching programme. Ongoing these forms will be held securely by the Club and will not have to completed for further coaching participation.
