Mens
The Mens Captain for 2024 Is roger bayes.
We have numerous singles competitions listed for the mens section, mainly on Saturdays, throughout the year but also on Sundays and midweek too. There are also a number of winter competitions organised which place more emphasis on team formats due to the shorter daylight hours.
There are a number of friendly matches which take place mostly through summer months of the year with for example, the Club playing against Sherwood Forest GC, Coxmoor GC, Holme Hall GC but to name a few on a home and away basis. There is an online facility available for interested members to register their interest/availability for these matches.

Adult Safeguarding Policy
Ladies
The Lady captain for 2024 is barbara haycox.
We have an active women's playing section who play regular competitions every Tuesday morning. We also have 'Roll-Up' competitions at other times during the week and at weekends, especially for those women who cannot play on Tuesday mornings. Social golf can be arranged using the online Tee Booking system.
New golfers and players of all ages and abilities are welcome - we have a Buddy scheme to help new memebers settle in to the club
A full calendar of events throughout the season is available with both competitive and friendly matches also arranged for those who enjoy playing against teams from other clubs.

At Lincoln Golf Club we have a very active Seniors Section with regular comps throughout the year and numerous matches home and away in the summer months. There is a regularly updated website with more information available by clicking on the link below.

Juniors
THE JUNIOR CAPTAIN FOR 2024 IS LILLIYA GREENE.
At Lincoln Golf Club we recognise that Juniors are the future of our Club and aim to provide opportunities for Juniors of any age, both boys and girls, to play and enjoy golf. We have the facilities and the coaching to help them develop their skills and knowledge in the game of golf in a safe and welcoming environment and, for those who to, we also provide opportunities to gain a handicap and play in a variety of competitions. We are delighted to be a recognsied HSBC Golf Roots Centre of Excellence as part of our commitment to Junior Golf.
Lincoln Golf Club holds regular coaching sessions for any juniors who would like to start playing golf, or just improve their game. These are open to members and non-members - please call the Pro Shop for further information
Junior Academy / Membership
We also have a Junior Academy where we offer coaching in all areas of the game, supervised access to the practice ground and and to the Par 3 practice course. There is also the chance to play holes 1 - 6 accompanied by an adult or as apart of a coaching session. This is completely free of charge with Junior membership starting from £66 for the year.

Junior Competitions
There are regular Junior competitions run throughout the year, plus exclusive, regular Roll-Up slots for Juniors at weekends. During the winter we hold our Winter Open Series - a series of 5 events held between October and March. In 2021 we hosted a Wee Wonders Regional Qualifier event and in 2022 we hosted England Golf’s Reid Trophy; the Reid Trophy is the English Boys' Under 14 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship – Eddie Pepperell being a past winner.

Junior Safeguarding
Lincoln Golf Club gained the SafeGolf accreditation in February 2021 which ensures that the sport of golf is one within which children involved can thrive and flourish in a safe environment and that all young people and adults at risk have a fun, safe and positive experience when playing golf.
