We have numerous singles competitions listed for the mens section, mainly on Saturdays, throughout the year but also on Sundays and midweek too. There are also a number of winter competitions organised which place more emphasis on team formats due to the shorter daylight hours.
There are a number of friendly matches which take place mostly through summer months of the year with for example, the Club playing against Sherwood Forest GC, Coxmoor GC, Holme Hall GC but to name a few on a home and away basis. There is an online facility available for interested members to register their interest/availability for these matches.
We have an active women’s playing section who play regular competitions every Tuesday morning. We also have ‘Roll-Up’ competitions at other times during the week and at weekends, especially for those women who cannot play on Tuesday mornings. Social golf can be arranged using the online Tee Booking system.
New golfers and players of all ages and abilities are welcome – we have a Buddy scheme to help new memebers settle in to the club
A full calendar of events throughout the season is available with both competitive and friendly matches also arranged for those who enjoy playing against teams from other clubs.

At Lincoln Golf Club we recognise that Juniors are the future of our Club and aim to provide opportunities for Juniors of any age, both boys and girls, to play and enjoy golf. We have the facilities and the coaching to help them develop their skills and knowledge in the game of golf in a safe and welcoming environment and, for those who to, we also provide opportunities to gain a handicap and play in a variety of competitions. We are delighted to be a recognsied HSBC Golf Roots Centre of Excellence as part of our commitment to Junior Golf.
