Lincoln Golf Club was founded in Lincoln City in 1891 and moved to its present site at Torksey, near Lincoln, in 1903.

The course was originally designed by J H Taylor, and with its mature trees, easy walking fairways and just a touch of water offers a true test of golf to members and visitors alike, and is a delight to play.

The course has been played by many famous golfers and Mark James, of Ryder Cup fame, achieved a course record of 65 whilst playing in the Lincolnshire Open.
